Welcome to the island of Brac
Brac is the largest Dalmatian island with a total area of 396 square kilometers and ot also the third largest island in the Adriatic. The island is separated from the mainland by Brac channel (6-13 km). The highest peak is Mount Vid, which is the highest peak of all Adriatic islands (778 m / nm). You can reach the island of Brac by plane (Split Airport and Brac Airport near Bol), ferry (the ferry ports of Split and Makarska), and by boat.
Brac has Mediterranean climate: hot and dry summers, and short and mild winters. The island belongs to the sunniest Adriatic area and has about 2700 hours of sunshine annually.
